How much does it cost?
Every job is different, so there is no price list. Once Franco has heard about the boat, the destination, the timing and what you need, he will talk you through it plainly.
I’m not sure which service I need. Does that matter?
Not at all. Most people do not know. Describe what is going on in your own words and Franco will help you find the right path. Nobody needs to choose a category first.
I’ve never sailed. Can you still help?
Yes. Many of the people Franco works with have just bought their first yacht. He teaches in plain language and does not make you feel behind.
Where do you work?
Across Australian waters and the Pacific Islands. If your boat is somewhere else, ask anyway.
Will I deal with a real person?
Always. WhatsApp, a phone call, a text or an email all reach Franco directly. There are no call centres and no automated forms between you and a conversation.
Can you help urgently?
Franco is reachable around the clock, and will help urgently where he can. In an emergency at sea, call emergency services and use your VHF or EPIRB first.
Is my boat insured during a delivery?
Your boat stays covered by its own insurance policy, so as long as that policy is valid, it is insured. Ray Yachting Solutions does not add a second policy over the top, because that would only double up the cover. It is worth telling your insurer about the delivery before it starts and keeping their answer in writing.
Who actually crews a delivery?
Franco delivers many boats himself. When a job needs more people, he brings in experienced freelance skippers and crew.
What qualifications does Franco hold?
RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement, up to 200 GT. He has also spent more than ten years as a diving instructor.
