If it doesn’t float, he’ll fix it.

Something on board is not right, or the boat needs to be made ready. Franco gets his hands in, works out what is wrong, and coordinates the right trades when a job is bigger than one person.

Franco wedged into an engine bay, working on the engine

How it usually goes.

Every job is different, but most follow this shape.

  1. Describe the problem

Photos and a plain description are often enough to start. No technical vocabulary needed.

  2. Find the cause

Practical troubleshooting across engine, electrics, rigging, plumbing and the systems in between.

  3. Fix it, or coordinate it

Franco does what he can himself and brings in specialists when the job needs them, so you are not left chasing quotes.

This is for you if…

  • Something has stopped working and you do not know why.
  • You want your boat commissioned and ready before a trip.
  • You live away from the boat and want someone you can rely on.

Questions about this.

Is this an emergency service?

Franco will always try to help where he can, urgently if needed. In an emergency at sea, call emergency services and use your VHF or EPIRB first.
